We just wrapped up Great Wines of Italy Asia 2019 tour, our final event of the year – and what an event it was!
More than 5,000 attendees came to Phuket, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Beijing to taste premium Italian wines from 150 top producers. If you didn’t get a chance to attend the events, or did and want another chance to taste some of these fabulous bottles, we’re now serving a range of top-scoring wines that were also shown Great Wines of Italy. All of the wines are over 90 points, so head to James Suckling Wine Central at 22 Staunton Street, Central, Hong Kong and order a glass.
In total the JamesSuckling.com team tasted around 6,400 Italian wines this year, and while the 2015 Brunellos were of a standout quality, we were also impressed with several other regions, including those from the south. Read our full coverage here: Italy’s incredible year
